Cupid Struck-SELENA n ED???

RUMOUR HAS IT!! this is (possibly) happening. Spies say that Selena Gomez was so sick of “taking care of Justin Bieber like he was her child,” that she’s happily rebounded with Taylor Swift’s tour mate, Ed Sheeran!

Apparently T introduced the unlikely pair over Memorial Day and Sel was smitten with Ed’s charm and British accent, which was somehow cute enough to get her past the fact that he’s pale as a larvae with hair like orange cotton candy. While I can’t say I see these two together forever, I’m just happy to see her with a dude who doesn’t wear sunglasses indoors or cruise around in leopard printed Lambos, aren’t you?

D&G Designing in Jail eh?????

seriously! This is a biggggggg blow to One of the biggest fashion houses in the history of Modern fashion...Italian Biggies Dolce n Gabbana are gonna be designing in JAIL :( The designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been sentenced to jail in Italy for one year and eight months for tax evasion. They were accused of hiding millions of euros from Italian tax authorities. The pair, whose customers have included Madonna, Kate Moss and Kylie Minogue, were not at the trial, deny the charges and have appealed.

Dolce and Gabbana have not commented on their sentences, which have been suspended pending their appeal. The investigation by the Italian authorities began around six years ago as part of a government plan to crack down on tax avoidance. At the hearing on Wednesday, the judge ruled that the designers moved their brand to a Luxembourg-based holding company Gado - an anagram of their two surnames - in 2004. He said they had done this to avoid declaring taxes on royalties of around 1 billion euros (£833m; $1.3bn). Prosecutors alleged they sold the business for well below actual market value. They were initially cleared of the charges at a previous trial in April 2011 but Italy's highest court overturned that ruling, ordering that the case should be sent back. Source- BBC NEWS

Mumbai you are now Forever 21 !!

Finalyyyy the wait is over...Mumbai get its own plush FOREVER 21 store at Infiniti Malad..(much much later after Delhi though!) The Bombaypolitans decided to do their own review about the latest most talked about store in town. Built over a sprawling area across two floors, the store is a shoppers paradise! We could not stop gushing and drooling. We absolutely loved the diverse collection which mainly consisted of Sheer, Black n white stripes, Polkas, Denims, Rivets , Faux leather, and Lace . WE fell in love with those flirty sheers. A plethora of maxis,shirts, tube dresses and apple cut skirts in pastel shades. Aztec,blacks n white stripes, polka dots and floral prints predominated the collection. Rivets came next!! from shorts, to jeans,to jackets, to bags....they were all over...a heaven for all you rivet trend lovers!!! n for all you Denim fans, Forever 21 had a lot to offer.shirts , shorts, jackets,shrugs, dresses, jeans ...almost everything you could ask for ! other delights at the store included peachy lace numbers, hot neon bikinis, cute vanity pouches, colorful wedges n espadrilles, girly iphone covers and pretty lil accessories! And yessssss! not to forget.. all within your budget!!!!!!! Accessories start somewhere around INR 250 and clothes around INR 750 and go upto INR 3000. Quite a treat for shoppaholics ehhh! NEON-Sense!

BOMBAYPOLITAN is obsessing over the neon trend! HOT Pinks, BRIGHT Oranges , FLUORESCENT Greens <3 Sadly a lot of you lovely fashionistas shy away from this fab style statement following a myth that neon's suit only white n pale complexions! We beg to differ! As a matter of fact Indian skin with its earthy n peachy undertones can carry off bright electric colours with sheer ease!   

Though the neon trend seems a bit daunting, it's actually a lot easier to pull off keeping in mind a few rules!

DO'S: Keep It Simple- Contrast is key. Wear neon's with neutrals so that you don't look like an extra from an 80's music video. 

Take it slow- Neon trend can be a bit tricky to carry off..so if you are feeling a bit shy , start slow. carry a neon bag or neckpiece with your normal outfit so just that you get comfortable with the colors Accessorize - Neon accessories add the perfect pop of colour to any outfit. Watch n wear- Make sure to pick a shade of neon that will compliment your skin tone. Click a picture of yourself before walking out!!
DON'T: Full neon!- Bright clothing + Bright accessories + Bright makeup = FASHION DISASTER!DO NOT Colour block opposing neon's. neon pink jacket+ Neon green Tee+ neon yellow shorts = BAD IDEA!DO NOT Wear neon pieces with a lot of detailing. Keep it simple n  most importantly
